Humans,
As you may know by now, France is very special to me. It's not just where I had my awakening but also where I got my first big break.
I've shared before of taking over cooking duties for Chef 'Po Bear at a popular Parisian restaurant after his scooter injury, not to mention my run-in with France's most famous food critic, Anton Ego, who was attending dinner that evening. Ego's rave review that followed thrust me into the culinary spotlight and my life has never been the same. For that reason, I’m thrilled to announce the creation of a new menu that is a culmination of my Parisian experience. February and March seats are now available but booking fast.
I recently took a trip abroad to do a little investigation for this exciting new tasting series. You know, a little on-site research and development. Osa was supposed to join me but came down with the flu at the last minute so my college buddy Rooty accompanied me instead.
Maybe you’ve heard about Rooty in the news lately. We’re pretty different from one another, but I love Rooty’s sense of humor and his ability to just roll with the punches (of which, he seems to be getting plenty lately!).
Having arrived in Paris, we both donned our best pantalons (talk about fancy) and set out on the town. We pretty much ate our way through the city, dining on everything from crusty croissants to evening escargots. I had a boeuf bourguignon that was so good it made me see stars. Rooty had his first roasted quail with black garlic cream, which he loved so much I decided it would be a welcome addition to my own menu. Wish you could have been there to see it: two all-American bears in pants, out on the town in the city of lights!
Since you couldn’t be there, we are bringing the experience to you. I can’t guarantee I’ll be wearing pants, but my new menu takes you on a delightful return to Paris. Even if you’ve dined with us before for our France themed dinners, this is an experience you won’t want to miss.
Yours,
Bear
